Our leadership group is comprised of two unique and dedicated individuals.

Archpriest George A. Kokhno, the Executive Director, is an Eastern Orthodox priest from the Ukraine. He has been living in USA for the past ten years. His knowledge of Ukraine, its Government and its people gives The Stork a distinct advantage. Rev. Kokhno's experience as a pastor also gives The Stork the benefit of a spiritual and social leader.

Irene Volynski, the Founder of The Stork, has an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and is a noted scientist and inventor. As the International Programs Director, she is putting all her efforts into providing better opportunities for Ukrainian and Russian orphans.
